Hi Everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m now finally getting back into blogging and have a lot of content coming in the food and travel section, something which has been lacking over the past few months.

So, I’m starting off some new food and travel content by giving you all a look into the new Comptoir Libanais menu. I was really excited to be invited to their media and influencer event as I’ve always loved their restaurant and have definitely spent more money than I care to admit in there. However, I do always stick to two main dishes on my visits – the Mezze Platter and Baklava for dessert. Therefore, this event meant that I finally got the opportunity to try more things on the menu and get the full Comptoir Libanais experience.

The first thing I was able to try was all of their Vodka Lemonades which are so delicious and really unique. I am normally not a fan of vodka but the flavours in the lemonade complimented the alcohol really well and made for an amazing taste. They have four different flavours on offer: Pomegranate, Rose, Apple and Lemon & Lime. You should not miss trying some of these flavours, especially as they are so refreshing for during the warmer weather.
After trying every single lemonade flavour…twice, I got to sample their new dishes. These included Spiced Salmon Shakshuka which consists of pomegranate roasted salmon with slow roasted tomatoes, onion and chilli shakshuka and the Avocado and Feta Salad which is filling whilst also being healthy and refreshing. I also got to try the Cheese Samboussek for the first time which is AMAZING. It is actually a return to the menu because it was in such popular demand, and I can see why!

The food that I couldn’t keep my hands off were the Cold Mezze dishes, which I hadn’t tried before but I am now a huge fan of. The majority of them are vegan and have really taught me that you don’t need any animal produce to have a flavoursome and addictive dish as I probably ended up eating 25 of these. To round off the evening I still managed to sneak in a taste of the new Mezze Platter which still stands as my favourite dish. It has such a vast range of flavours which all compliment each other so well. On top of this, it is colourful, healthy and satisfying and will leave you wanting to go back for more.
Overall, I absolutely loved the new Comptois Libanais menu (not like I had any doubt that I would). They are definitely beginning to introduce more vegan and vegetarian dishes, and whilst I still eat meat, I have a new perspective on whether you actually need meat and dairy to create a well-balanced and tasty meal. I can certainly say that I will now be inviting all my friends into Comptoir with me so that I can continue trying out more and more of their amazing menu.
I can’t wait to continue bringing more food and travel content to you all. I have new restaurant and hotel reviews opportunities almost every week so keep your eyes peeled.
See you in my next post <3
