I hope you’re all well! I’m currently trying to branch out into different topics so here is a my first post about skincare this year.
Ageing is one of life’s few inevitabilities. In fact, we are all engaging with the ageing process as we speak. As everyday passes, we are slowly becoming more mature individuals. This, of course, has plenty of positives. You become wiser, more aware of the world around you, and a much stronger and more well rounded person. However, when it comes to looks, we tend to want to hold onto our youth. Nowadays, people as young as their early twenties are beginning to think for different ways to offset the physical signs of ageing! The good news is that there are several ways to keep a good grip on your youthful looks. Now, one of the areas of our bodies most affected by ageing is our skin. So, here are a few different ways to look after our skin in a manner that will prevent fine lines and wrinkles, keeping our appearance forever young!
Drink Plenty of Water
You would be surprised just how big an impact hydration levels can have on your skin. When you are dehydrated, your skin is one of the first areas to experience negative effects. Not only does sufficient water consumption help to flush toxins out of your skin, but it can plump the skin too! So, make sure to get your recommended eight glasses every single day. Sure, this can be a relatively hard habit to get into. But if you replace hot drinks, squash, and fizzy drinks with water, you should hit your target easily.
Use Skin Creams
Chances are that you already use some sort of facial cream in your daily skin routine. The majority of us have a favourite moisturiser, eye cream, and even night cream. However, if you are concerned about ageing, you should start opting to invest in the best anti-aging skincare on the market. These products are specially formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles that have already established themselves. There are multiple options available, including day creams, night creams, serums, and age reduction kits!
There are various means of intervention that can prevent fine lines and wrinkles from getting worse as time goes by. Many fine lines and wrinkles are caused by facial expressions that we make. If you frown a lot, you are likely to have more lines and wrinkles on your forehead. I get asked all the time about botox as we see it being used more and more in society. There is no need to have botox as everyone should make their own decision about what is right for them. However, for those girls who are thinking of getting botox it is important to educate yourself. Botox essentially freezes the muscle in targeted areas, reducing movement in your forehead, and consequently reducing the knock on effects of this movement.
These are just a few different means of skin improvement that you have at your disposal. Employ those that best appeal to you and your skin should be glowing with a youthful appearance in next to no time. Remember to always use what methods you feel comfortable with.
See you in my next post!
