Hey Everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well! I’ve been producing a lot of content recently and today I finally wanted to talk about how to stand out in a really positive way.
In life, you weren’t born to blend in – you were born to stand out, yet often, people can stand out for reasons they wouldn’t like to… for instance, the hero tends to go unacknowledged whilst someone doing something negative will get the whole world’s attention.
There are so many different things you can do to add a bit more confidence to your life. For example, when I got my ears pierced it helped me to stand out and show my own personal style through the accessories I bought meaning you might want to have a look at the complete guide to ear piercings . This blog post, therefore looks at a few ways to stand out, in a good way, particularly when it comes to your personal appearance:
1. BE IN GOOD SHAPE
One of the most attractive things you can do to stand out from the crowd is to be in great shape, now that doesn’t mean you have to live in the gym but just being in a state of peak physical fitness makes anyone stand out. There is, however a balance, with this, as some people take it to a level that means they stand out in a way that makes people question whether they might be a little obsessed or vain. You therefore want to aim for a healthy appearance that suggests you take good care of yourself.
- DRESS TO IMPRESS
The clothes you wear on your body are an external representation of the person you are inside, in the sense that your external image projects your personality to the world. I believe that clothes are a way to show who you are to the world without having to say a word. If you’re quite a shy and introverted person then you can still express your personality through the clothes that you wear. You can also use outfits to help you stand out in interviews so it is particularly important to dress professionally.
- BE NICE
One of the best ways you can stand out, is by being a nice person that creates value for others – whether this is as simple as holding a door open, or as volunteering your time for a good cause. A lot of the time, we focus so much on the outside, when what tends to matter much more is what’s on the inside. Be nice to people, and you’ll be amazed by how much you will stand out from the crowd. So many people today don’t make time for others, so if you can truly engage other people with a smile and genuine questions about their life, you’ll stand out as a warm and kind person that is liked by many.
See you in my next post!
