Travels: Isles of Scilly

Hey Everyone,

Hope you’re all doing well!

I’m so sorry that it’s been a while since I last posted on here. Starting a new job has been really tiring and I’m only just starting to get used to the early starts. However, now that I have just about got into a good routine, I’m definitely going to be posting on here a lot more.

Today I wanted to tell you all about the latest holiday that I went on a few weeks ago to the Isles of Scilly. I have visited this area before but have had such an amazing time that I couldn’t resist blogging about it for the second time.

The best thing about Scilly is the views. Wherever you go on the islands you will always be surrounded by nature and the sea which is so relaxing. These past two holidays I have had a bedroom which looks out onto the ocean and a nearby lake which is definitely the most peaceful view to wake up too. There are also so many unique experiences to be had when staying here. I was able to go kayaking around all of the islands, even stopping off to visit some of the uninhabited ones. I also managed to swim in the sea (only for 30 seconds though) which was genuinely like jumping into an ice bath…never again. However, the best experience I had was seeing the Red Arrows for the first time. It was made so much more amazing by being able to watch them on a beach surrounded by the ocean.

Overall, the Isles of Scilly has been such an amazing holiday for the second time. It’s a really unique place to visit and I have to keep reminding myself that it’s still part of the UK as it’s always unusually sunny. If you want to have a look at all the great things that I got up to then scroll down for some pictures. A lot of the photos have really captured my experience perfectly.

Let me know in the comments what your favourite holiday destination is and I will talk to you all very soon in my next blog post.
