Hey Everyone,
Thank you for all the traffic you are giving my blog. It’s so nice to see so many of you keeping up with what I’m doing.
So I’m starting a new feature on my blog called OOTD (Outfit of the Day). Taking photos tends to be part of most of my days so why not show you some of these pictures? I have so many photo shoots involving just one outfit and I never know where to put them but don’t want them to go to waste. I will try and post one OOTD a week on my blog so you can see what I’m wearing on a regular basis.
Some of my outfits may be from really formal events whilst others might be what I wear to lectures. This means you can see my outfits from a whole range of different occasions. I hope you enjoy this new feature and make sure to let me know if you have any advice!
For this first post I will be showing you an outfit I wore to a party and then later to a dissertation interview/meeting the next day. This is probably more of a evening outfit but I just love wearing formal outfits during the day. Fashion is always about you- wear whatever you feel comfortable in and not what you feel society wants to wear.
I’ve been looking for a nice winter dress for so long. Most of my warm dresses are short sleeved and was so excited to find a nice long sleeved one. I actually bought the same one in a different colour – shhhh! The thing I find with dresses like this is you can dress it up or dress it down as much as you please. I’ve seen certain people such as Kendall Jenner wearing a dress like this with white trainers whilst I’ve seen other people such as Gigi Hadid wearing this kind of dress with heels.
So if you have this kind of dress you can add heels and wear it for a formal event or you could add some more casual everyday shoes and pull it off going to classes or coffee dates. I’ve decided to add my knee high boots to mine. I really am over doing the knee high boots on my blog aren’t I?
Knee high boots are something which probably are a little more formal but you can easily add them to a more day-to-day outfit. Like I said, I wore this outfit to a party but then also wore it to a meeting/interview. I definitely think you can pull it off in both circumstances.
I would 100% advise all of you to get a statement dress like this one. You barely have to add any accessories or any other clothing pieces as it looks so nice by itself. All you really need to decide here is on what shoes you want to add to it. I got this dress for £8 in Primark so it’s also not going to be at all expensive to purchase something like this.
So I am finally done rambling on about this dress. I hope you all enjoy the pictures <3
